Short but super stay
A brief stopover in Stone Town before heading to the beach. We couldn’t have chosen better. Warm welcome including a Hisbiscus juice and cold towel. Room was large and well equipped. Shower was superb. Breakfast included a comprehensive selection of items and just perfect. Lovely tips on where to explore for our few hours. Every member of staff was smiley and helpful.
Fully Recommend for your stay in Stone Town.

Great place, even greater staff
We spent part of our honeymoon in Stone Town and we chose Kisiwa House for this period.
The hotel is well located, the room is very clean, with good A/C, the bathroom is very spacious with brand new showers.
Overall the stay was great. The highlight though is the staff - the receptionists and waiters are just incredible. We had such a joy talking to them during breakfast or every time we were back to the hotel. They are full of charisma, very attentive, well informed and, above all, kind. They made the stay a special one.
Will definitely come back.
e Forodhani Gardens and the Old Fort. It's perfect for exploring the narrow streets, enjoying local markets, and soaking in the coastal atmosphere.

Amazing place, highly recommended.
A Perfect Slice of Paradise
Our stay at Kisiwa on the Beach in Paje, Zanzibar, was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.
The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with traditional Zanzibari touches. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and stepping out onto the pristine white-sand beach was like a dream.
The food was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and full of local flavors. Whether it was breakfast with ocean views or a romantic dinner under the stars, every meal felt special.
The hotel’s location in Paje is perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to local attractions and activities. The pool area was serene, and the lush gardens made the whole place feel like a private oasis.
We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff. Kisiwa on the Beach is a little slice of paradise, and we can’t wait to return!

Amazing hotel on the beach
Wow! From the moment we arrived for our 8 day stay we felt at home. We were met by Julius the GM who introduced us to his team and welcomed us to Kisiwa. Our villa was gorgeous and decorated with flowers. The pool area and hotel grounds were amazing. The beach was gorgeous and when it was low tide you could walk out towards the reef in ankle deep turquoise water.
What makes this small hotel is the staff. Everyone from the waiters, housekeepers, security and gardeners greeted you with a smile and were so friendly.
With only 22 villas the atmosphere at the hotel was always relaxed and quiet.
We will definitely stay at the Kisiwa again when we return to Zanzibar.ace and perfect service.
